Model kit of Persona 5’s Arsene to get a re-release

Japanese model kit manufacturer Aoshima has announced the re-release of a popular Persona 5 model kit.
The “ACKS No.PE-01 Persona 5 Arsene” model kit will get a new release later this year, which is sure to be welcome news for Persona 5 fans and plastic model enthusiasts who missed out on the initial release.

Persona 5, developed by Atlus, is a critically acclaimed role-playing game first released in 2016.
It has fast become a fan favorite, due to its stylish aesthetics, engaging story, unique combat system, and memorable characters.

In the game, “Personas” are manifestations of their users’ psyches, representing their rebellious spirit and inner strength.
Arsene is the initial Persona of the protagonist, Joker, and is characterized by his striking design inspired by a gentleman thief as well as his large wings.

As a symbolic representation of rebellion and freedom, Arsene is one of the most memorable “Personas” from the Persona 5 universe.
Plastic model kits are a popular hobby in Japan and allow enthusiasts to assemble and customize highly detailed replicas of characters, vehicles, and mecha.

Aoshima’s “ACKS” (Aoshima Character Kit Selection) line is known for producing high-quality kits of popular anime and game characters.
The “ACKS No.PE-01 Persona 5 Arsene” kit is designed to faithfully reproduce Arsene’s intricate appearance.

The model boasts meticulously sculpted clothing and wing patterns, capturing the complex design of Arsene.
The kit is designed for “snap-on” assembly, meaning it does not require adhesive for construction.

This makes the building process more accessible to a wider range of hobbyists, including those new to plastic models.
Arsene’s distinctive head pattern can be accurately recreated using the included decals, ensuring the finished model has a game-accurate appearance.

Important elements such as the wrists, the scarf on Arsene’s chest, chains, and the mask are made from PVC.
This choice of material allows for finer detail, greater durability, and more flexibility compared to standard plastic, which is important for delicate and intricately shaped parts.

This highly anticipated re-issue is scheduled for October 2025 and will be priced at 8,800 yen (approx. $60.73 USD / £44.84 GBP).
Pre-orders will soon open with most reputable hobby stores and specialist retailers.
