Metal Gear Solid Fully Reveals Its New Revolver Ocelot Premium Figure
Image by James RichardsonKaiyodo has fully revealed its new Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi figure of Revolver Ocelot that recreates the young gunslinger as he appears in Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater.
Ocelot was originally confirmed for the Amazing Yamaguchi line back in May 2025, when Kaiyodo announced Metal Gear Solid Δ figures of Naked Snake, The Boss and Ocelot across three consecutive days.

All three have since progressed to full releases, with the Sneaking Suit version of Naked Snake scheduled for February 2027 and The Boss following in March, before Ocelot arrives one month later in April.

That gives collectors the three central figures needed to recreate several of Snake Eater’s most memorable confrontations, with Kaiyodo specifically promoting Ocelot as a companion piece to its Naked Snake figure.

Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater itself is a modern remake of 2004’s Metal Gear Solid 3, retelling Naked Snake’s Cold War-era mission and the events that ultimately shape him into the soldier later known as Big Boss.

The new figure is based on Ocelot during his time as the GRU Major who repeatedly crosses paths with Naked Snake during the events of Snake Eater, complete with his military uniform, riding boots and distinctive spurs.

This younger version of the character is still developing the revolver-focused fighting style that will eventually make him one of the Metal Gear series’ most recognizable recurring characters, something Kaiyodo has made a major part of the new release.

Standing approximately 16.5 cm tall, the figure uses the extensive articulation associated with the Amazing Yamaguchi line to recreate Ocelot’s gunfights, dramatic stances and close-quarters encounters with Snake.

His weapons include two standard Single Action Army revolvers alongside a third silver luxury revolver, giving collectors several options for recreating the character’s increasingly elaborate gunplay.

Two dedicated gunplay effect parts represent revolvers rapidly spinning around his hands, turning one of Ocelot’s most memorable habits into a physical effect rather than relying entirely on posing.

The set also includes eight interchangeable hands, a knife, tactical belt and display stand, with hand parts designed around both weapon use and CQC-inspired gestures.

An interchangeable face is included with the standard release, while customers who order directly through the Kaiyodo Online Store or the company’s Hobby Lobby stores in Tokyo and Osaka will receive an additional newly sculpted gritted-teeth expression as an exclusive bonus.

Pre-orders for the “Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Ocelot” will open at 12:00 PM JST on September 11 through established hobby goods retailers such as HobbyLink Japan.
The figure is priced at ¥12,100 (approx. $78 USD / £57 GBP) and is scheduled for release in April 2027.
