MAPPA Announces New 15th Anniversary Exhibition Featuring Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man and Attack on Titan

A major new exhibition celebrating 15 years of anime studio MAPPA has been announced, giving fans an opportunity to explore the worlds of some of the company’s most acclaimed productions.

The event, titled “MAPPA EXPO 15th Anniversary Exhibition,” will spotlight a selection of the studio’s most recognizable works through immersive displays designed to bring their settings, characters, and creative artistry to life.

Founded in 2011, MAPPA has become one of the most influential animation studios in the industry, producing television anime, theatrical films, commercials, and web-based projects across a wide range of genres.

The studio is known internationally for hit titles including Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan: The Final Season, and Chainsaw Man, which are all set to feature in the upcoming 15th anniversary exhibition, among other productions from MAPPA’s back catalogue.

MAPPA has described the exhibition as a specially curated experience that will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere and appeal of their works through displays created exclusively for the event.

A variety of event-exclusive merchandise is also planned, including products featuring newly commissioned illustrations and reproductions of original animation artwork.

Visitors attending the exhibition will receive a special bonus item in the form of an original artwork postcard packaged inside an envelope styled after a traditional animation cut bag.

Separate postcard designs will be available for Chainsaw Man – Reze Arc, Attack on Titan: The Final Season, and Jujutsu Kaisen, with five different designs planned for each series.

The exhibition will be divided into two presentation periods, with some displays scheduled to change between the first and second halves of the event.

Due to the inclusion of displays featuring material from series that contain depictions of violence and mature themes, the exhibition is recommended primarily for older audiences, although elementary school-aged children may attend when accompanied by a high school-aged or older guardian.

The “MAPPA EXPO 15th Anniversary Exhibition” will run from September 16, 2026, through December 7, 2026, at YURAKUCHO MUSEUM, with the first exhibition phase taking place from September 16 through October 25 and the second phase running from October 28 through December 7, separated by a venue closure on October 26 and 27.

Standard ticket prices have been set at ¥2,000 (approx. $14 USD/£10 GBP) in advance and ¥2,200 (approx. $15 USD/£11 GBP) on the day for adults, while high school and university students will pay ¥1,600 (approx. $11 USD/£8 GBP) in advance or ¥1,800 (approx. $12 USD/£9 GBP) on the day, and elementary and middle school students will pay ¥1,200 (approx. $8 USD/£6 GBP) in advance or ¥1,400 (approx. $10 USD/£7 GBP) on the day, with preschool-aged children admitted free of charge.

Special merchandise bundle tickets include an acrylic panel featuring new artowrk based on Chainsaw Man – Reze Arc, Attack on Titan: The Final Season, and Jujutsu Kaisen will also be available for ¥4,000 (approx. $27 USD/£20 GBP) in advance or ¥4,200 (approx. $29 USD/£21 GBP) on the day of attendance.

The exhibition will operate using a timed-entry system intended to help manage visitor numbers and improve the overall experience.

Entry slots will be available at 30-minute intervals beginning at 10:00 a.m., with the final admission window scheduled for 5:00 p.m. and the venue closing at 6:00 p.m.

Advance lottery applications for the first phase of admission tickets opened on June 19, 2026, and will remain available through June 30, 2026, with applications handled through Lawson Ticket via the official website.

Each visitor may apply for up to four tickets per entry slot during the advance lottery period.

Following its initial run in Tokyo, plans are already in place for the exhibition to travel to multiple additional cities, although further details regarding the touring schedule have not yet been revealed.
