Lotteria adds Korean beef to new king-sized burger for “Meat Day”

Lotteria will be featuring special menu items to celebrate Meat Day in March 2025.
Meat Day is an event held by many restaurants in Japan on the 29th of each month, with “2” (“ni”) “9” (“kyu”) sounding similar to “niku”, the Japanese word for meat.
Lotteria’s Meat Day celebrations typically involve offering their 4 patty “King-size Ultimate Cheeseburger”, as well as an equally large version of one of the burgers on their seasonal menu.
As with most Japanese fast food chain, Lotteria regularly introduces new seasonal menu items such as their Okonomiyaki Burger and Sakura Pies.
This month’s Meat Day promotion will see the introduction of the “King-size Ultimate Teriyaki Cheeseburger with Beef Rib and Egg”.
King-size Ultimate Cheeseburger

The “King-size Ultimate Cheeseburger” consists of four 100% beef patties and four slices of red cheddar cheese, generously layered and topped with a rich melted cheese sauce served within Lotteria’s signature soft and chewy burger buns.

The “King-size Ultimate Teriyaki Cheeseburger with Beef Rib and Egg” is an enhanced version of Lotteria’s “Teriyaki Cheeseburger” featuring an increased number of 100% beef patties and the addition of Korean style “galbi” beef rib meat.
It also includes a fresh egg, which is cooked on-site within Lotteria’s kitchens.
Additional ingredients include melted cheese sauce, Lotteria’s special teriyaki sauce, crisp shredded lettuce and a slice of cheddar cheese.

Both burgers are scheduled to be available at all 290 Lotteria store locations across Japan, although some exclusions may apply.
For March 2025, Lotteria’s “Meat Day” menu will be available for 5 days between March 27th and March 31st.
