Little Nightmares II Enhanced Edition Arrives on Switch 2 This May

Publisher Bandai Namco and developers Tarsier Studios and Supermassive Games announced on April 2, 2026, that Little Nightmares II Enhanced Edition will launch for the Nintendo Switch 2 on May 29, 2026.

This upgraded version of the suspense adventure sequel arrives on Nintendo’s latest hardware with a focus on technical improvements.

Players can expect the Switch 2 release to feature higher resolution and improved visual effects compared to the original Nintendo Switch version.

Little Nightmares II originally debuted on February 11, 2021, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The Enhanced Edition was previously launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC on August 25, 2021, bringing similar visual enhancements to those platforms.

In this title, players take on the role of Mono, a young boy navigating a world distorted by a mysterious humming transmission from a distant tower.

Mono is accompanied by Six, the protagonist from the first game, who serves as a guide through dark environments and dangerous threats from the residents of the Signal Tower.

The upcoming May 29, 2026, release aims to provide the most visually polished experience for the franchise on Nintendo’s handheld hybrid console.
