Life-sized plushies of the LEGENDS Z-A starters are coming to the official Pokémon Center stores
A new line of massive, life-sized plush toys has been announced by The Pokémon Company, featuring the three starter Pokémon from the upcoming game, Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A.
The new collection brings the fan-favorite Pokémon Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile to life in an impressive and huggable new format.
These plush toys are designed to be “life-sized,” making them a perfect addition to any fan’s collection.
The announcement of these new products is part of a larger merchandise campaign to celebrate the launch of the highly anticipated new Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 title.
Other merchandise released to commemorate its launch include a range of new stickers from B-SIDE LABEL, which also focus on the three starter Pokémon.
A range of exclusive Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A themed food items are also set to appear in 7-Eleven convenience stores across Japan.
The three new, life-sized plush toys are as follows:
- Life-Sized Plush – Chikorita
- Price: ¥7,700 (approx. $52 USD / £42 GBP)
- Life-Sized Plush – Tepig
- Price: ¥7,700 (approx. $52 USD / £42 GBP)
- Life-Sized Plush – Totodile
- Price: ¥8,800 (approx. $60 USD / £48 GBP)
The new plushies allow fans of the second and fifth generation starters to add life-size versions of the popular Pokémon to their collection.
The new, life-sized plush toys are scheduled to be released at all Pokémon Center retail stores across Japan.
They will also be available on the Pokémon Center Online store.
The launch is scheduled for Thursday, the 16th of October, which is the same day as the release of the Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A game.
The online sale is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM Japan Standard Time.
