Kotobukiya opens orders for new M3GAN “HORROR BISHOUJO” statue

Pre-orders have officially opened for a new figure that combines horror with cuteness, based on the killer AI doll M3GAN.
The new statue is the “HORROR BISHOUJO M3GAN,” the latest entry in Kotobukiya’s long-running BISHOUJO series.

M3GAN is the 2022 hit horror film about a lifelike AI companion doll that becomes self-aware and violently overprotective.

The BISHOUJO series, famous for its “pretty girl” aesthetic, re-imagines iconic characters from film, comics, and games based on new art by illustrator Shunya Yamashita.

This new 1/7 scale figure, standing approximately 21 centimeters tall, is based on a new design by Yamashita.

It captures M3GAN’s eerie, artificial vibe while adding the line’s signature cute styling.

She is captured in a confident, almost threatening stance, and her iconic blonde hair is faithfully recreated with detailed paintwork.

The figure also includes a special base featuring the 3D “M3GAN” logo.

An exclusive bonus is also available as customers who pre-order from the Kotobukiya online shop will receive an “alternate expression part” as a gift.

The “HORROR BISHOUJO M3GAN” is priced at 19,800 yen (approx. $128.60 USD / £97.79 GBP).

Pre-orders are open now via Kotobukiya’s official online store and other international retail partners such as HobbyLink Japan.

The figure is scheduled to ship in June 2026.
