Kirby’s real life train collab gets its own Gashapon mini figures

Bandai has announced a new series of capsule toys that is part of a larger collaboration between the Kirby franchise and the Hankyu Railway.
The new Gashapon set is titled “Kirby x Hankyu Railway Shushu Popo Gocco ~Hankyu Railway ‘Kirby Train’~.”

This new collection is a crossover between the real-world Japanese railway company and Kirby’s own train-themed merchandise line, “Kirby Pupupu Train.”

The “Pupupu Train” series is a popular, recurring pop-up shop and product line that features Kirby and his friends playing as train conductors and station staff.
This new capsule toy set takes the collaboration art from the upcoming, large-scale Hankyu Railway event and translates it into a series of miniature figures.

The figures are designed to appear as if the characters are following each other as part of a small, connected train.
The lineup features a total of four different miniature figures for fans to collect, with the full list of characters in the set as follows:
- Kirby (Station Master)

- Waddle Dee

- Waddle Doo

- Kirby

This new Gashapon series is just one part of a much larger collaboration with the Hankyu Railway, which is set to begin on the 22nd of August, 2025, and will also include specially wrapped “Kirby Trains,” a stamp rally, and exclusive food and merchandise.

The new capsule toy set is priced at ¥400 per attempt and it is scheduled to be released in early September in stores across Japan.
