Huge new range of “Akame ga Kill!” perfumes now available in Japan

Fairy Tail Parfum, a Tokyo-based parfumier known for creating anime collaboration perfumes, has announced the release of a new line of fragrances inspired by the popular series “Akame ga Kill!”.


“Akame ga Kill!” is a dark action fantasy series set in a world with both medieval and sci-fi elements.
The series is renowned for its intense action, morally ambiguous characters, and often brutal narrative that doesn’t shy away from depicting the harsh realities of its world.



The story follows Tatsumi, a young swordsman who ends up joining a rebel group called Night Raid alongside a government trained assassin called Akame.



Previous anime collaborations from Fairy Tail Parfum have included Kakegurui, Mob Psycho 100 and Assassination Classroom.



This new range of perfumes is based on eleven different characters from “Akame ga Kill!”.
Akame Perfume

This perfume is inspired by Akame, a beautiful girl with black hair and red eyes.
- Top note: lemon, lychee, blackcurrant
- Middle note: rose, jasmine, lily of the valley, plum
- Last note: musk, amber, woody, sweet
Kurome Perfume

This perfume is based on Akame’s younger sister, Kurome.
- Top notes: orange, lemon, lychee, blackcurrant
- Middle notes: pear, sweet pea, rose, lily of the valley
- Last notes: white musk, caramel accord
Esdeath Perfume

This perfume takes its inspiration from the ruthless and sadistic general Esdeath.
- Top notes: marine accord, pink pepper
- Middle notes: peony, rose centifolia, lilac
- Last notes: gourmand accord, white musk, ozone
Tatsumi Perfume

This perfume is inspired by the main character of this work, Tatsumi and his inherent sense of justice and straightforward personality.
- Top notes: mandarin orange, bergamot, lemon
- Middle notes: peach, rhubarb, green tea, jasmine
- Last notes: white musk, amber
Mine Perfume

This perfume is based on the personality of Mine, the genius marksman.
- Top notes: mandarin orange, bergamot, lemon
- Middle notes: peony, jasmine, lily of the valley, ylang-ylang
- Last notes: white musk, vetiver
Leone Perfume

This perfume takes inspiration from Leone’s refreshing and free-spirited personality.
- Top notes: pear, watermelon
- Middle notes: peach, casaba melon
- Last notes: musk, sandalwood
Lubbock Perfume

This perfume is inspired by Lubbock and should bring to mind a bright, cheerful, playful person.
- Top notes: bergamot, grapefruit, papaya
- Middle notes: peach, lemon, cardamom
- Last notes: white musk, lavender
Bulat Perfume

This perfume is based on the passionate and passionate Bulat.
- Top notes: orange, bitter orange, rosemary
- Middle notes: jasmine, sage, basil, geranium
- Last notes: sandalwood, amber
Sheele Perfume

This perfume takes inspiration from Sheele, who is cold-hearted in battle but has a kind heart.
- Top notes: white rose, mandarin, bergamot
- Middle notes: jasmine, orange blossom, peony
- Last notes: white musk, white lily
Najenda Perfume

This perfume is based on Najenda, leader of Night Raid and a former Imperial General.
- Top notes: tobacco accord, oud, cyclamen
- Middle notes: fir, oakmoss
- Last notes: tonka bean, sandalwood
Chelsea Perfume

The final perfume is inspired by Chelsea and her mischievous sweet tooth.
- Top notes: bergamot, orange, pear, cotton
- Middle notes: licorice blossom, lily of the valley, rose
- Last notes: white musk, vanilla, caramel
Each individual bottle of perfume will be priced at 4,950 yen (approx. $34.15 USD / £25.58 GBP).
The character perfumes in this range are sold in 50ml bottles, with the exception of the Esdeath perfume which comes in a 75ml bottle and the Akame and Kurome perfumes which come in 30ml bottles.
The collection is now on sale through Fairy Tail’s online store “DREAMING PRINCESS” as well as on their Amazon and Rakuten Ichiba storefronts, “Fragrance Fantasy.”

Additionally, the perfumes will be sold at their directly managed retail outlet, “FAIRYTAIL,” located within Magnet by Shibuya109 in Tokyo.
