The Japanese convenience store chain Lawson has launched a major collaboration campaign with the popular VTuber group, hololive.

The new campaign features six talents from hololive production: Shirakami Fubuki, Nakiri Ayame, Usada Pekora, Tsunomaki Watame, La-Plus Darknesss, and Kazama Iroha.

For the event, all six members have been drawn in new “summer vacation” themed illustrations that are being used across a wide range of merchandise and promotions.

Lawson, one of Japan’s largest convenience store operators, frequently partners with major entertainment franchises for store-wide campaigns.

This collaboration offers fans several ways to acquire exclusive items.

A gift-with-purchase promotion is running at stores nationwide, offering a free gift on a first-come, first-served basis.

Customers who buy three qualifying snack products will receive one of six possible original clear files.

Those who purchase two qualifying jelly drink products will receive one of six possible sticker sets.

A separate range of exclusive merchandise is also available for direct purchase, which most Lawson stores will carry for sale.

A single Lawson store in Shibuya has been fully decorated with collaboration visuals and will sell additional, store-exclusive items.

The collaboration extends to other in-store services as well.

The “Lawson Print” service, which operates from the multi-function copiers in stores, will offer a series of original character photos, or “bromides”, for purchase.

A special “Hololive Original Design Karaage-kun BOX” featuring the chain’s famous fried chicken will also be available through delivery services.

The nationwide collaboration campaign between Lawson and Hololive began on Tuesday, July 8th.

Many of the collaboration items, including complete sets, will also be made available for pre-order online through the Loppi and HMV&BOOKS online services.
