Himmel’s statue from Frieren recreated as first ever polystone Nendoroid
Good Smile Company has announced a unique addition to its Nendoroid More line.
“Nendoroid More Stone Statue Himmel”, based on the anime series Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End has been released, marking the first time a Nendoroid product has partially utilized polystone material.
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End has quickly become a critically acclaimed and widely watched anime and manga series.
It follows the elven mage Frieren on a long journey after defeating the Demon King, exploring themes of time, memory, and the fleeting nature of human life.
Himmel, the hero who led the party to victory, is often remembered through statues erected in his honor, symbolizing his enduring legacy and the profound impact he had on Frieren.
Good Smile Company’s Nendoroid series is known for its stylized, collectible figures that feature interchangeable parts and dynamic posing.
The “Nendoroid More” sub-brand often includes accessories or unique figures that complement the main Nendoroid line.
The Nendoroid More Stone Statue Himmel figure is designed to convey the significant weight and texture of a stone statue.
Good Smile Company has stated that while the particular statue of Himmel depicted in the anime that the figure is based on is a bronze statue, this product is based on the concept that a stone version might exist somewhere as well.
It weighs approximately 3.6 times more than a standard Nendoroid Himmel figure, with Good Smile Company recommending holding it with both hands due to the additional weight.
To accommodate this increased weight, the product’s packaging deviates from the usual Nendoroid design.
Instead of a transparent blister, the figure is securely encased in a sponge-like material, ensuring its protection during transport.
Priced at 6,500 yen, the Nendoroid More Stone Statue Himmel will only be available through two limited-quantity sales channels:
- Smile Fest 2025: Sales began on Saturday, June 14, at 10:00 AM JST, and will continue while supplies last at the event.
- Good Smile Company Official Online Shop: Online sales are scheduled to begin on Friday, August 1st, 2025, and will also conclude once quantities are exhausted.
Fans of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End and Nendoroid collectors will need to act quickly once sales begin to acquire this unique, weighted representation of Himmel’s statue.
