High-end replica of Tanjiro’s Infinity Castle Arc sword goes on sale

Demon Slayer fans can now add a replica of one of the series’ most iconic swords to their collection.
The new high-end “PROPLICA Nichirin Sword (Tanjiro Kamado) Kyojuro Rengoku’s Tsuba ver.” collectible recreates the specific version of Tanjiro’s Nichirin Sword that he uses after the events of the Mugen Train arc.
PROPLICA is a brand under Bandai Spirits’ Tamashii Nations that specializes in creating full-scale, 1:1 replicas of iconic items from popular anime and movies, often featuring built-in lights and sounds.

Following the death of the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, Tanjiro inherits the flame-shaped “tsuba,” or handguard, from Rengoku’s broken sword.

He then incorporates this handguard into a new Nichirin Sword, forged by Hotaru Haganezuka, as a tribute to the fallen Hashira, making this version of the sword a deeply symbolic and emotional object for fans of the series.

The new PROPLICA is a faithful, approximately 88 centimetre (nearly 35 inches) long recreation of this version of Tanjiro’s sword.

The replica carefully reproduces the details of Rengoku’s distinctive handguard, as well as the word “滅” (Metsu, meaning “Destroy”) engraved on the side of the blade.

The replica sword also includes a sound module that contains a variety of audio clips from the series.

It features background music and character dialogue taken from the battles in the newly released Infinity Castle Arc film.

Also included are sound effects for Tanjiro’s powerful “Hinokami Kagura,” or Sun Breathing, sword techniques.

A scabbard and a dedicated display stand are included with the sword, allowing it to be displayed both sheathed and unsheathed.

The collectible requires two AAA batteries, required for the sound effects, which are sold separately.
The new PROPLICA is priced at 19,800 yen (approx. $133 USD / £99 GBP ) and it was officially released for sale at hobby goods retailers that stock Tamashii Nations products on Saturday, the 19th of July, 2025.
