Hello Kitty and My Melody Feature in New DIANA Footwear Collection

A new fashion collaboration has been announced, merging iconic Japanese characters with a well-established women’s shoe and bag brand.

The “Sanrio characters × DIANA” collection marks the first partnership between the two entities, offering a range of footwear and accessories inspired by Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinnamoroll, and Pompompurin.

This special release features nine distinct product types across DIANA’s various sub-brands, each reinterpreting the characters through an elegant and sophisticated lens suitable for adult fans.

The main “DIANA” line includes pumps and handbags that incorporate character motifs with a focus on high-quality materials and “grown-up cute” aesthetics.

A highlight is the “Ribbon Heel Pumps,” which feature Hello Kitty’s signature ribbon sculpted directly into the heel, available in gingham check or a unique leopard print inspired by a “suntanned” Hello Kitty.

The “Mirror Charm Mini Bag” series assigns specific textures and icons to each character, such as tweed fabrics and custom charms shaped like ribbons or clouds.

The sneaker brand “plus diana” offers platform sneakers with embroidered heel motifs and beaded shoe accessories, while the knit shoe brand “CUMUU_DIANA” provides comfortable flats featuring elaborate character patterns.

The casual line “artemis by DIANA” rounds out the collection with loafers and sheer pumps accented with silhouette details.

A limited pre-sale event will be held at the Diana Lumine Est Shinjuku store from January 31 to February 1, offering a “suntanned” Hello Kitty towel as an exclusive gift.

General sales at stores across Japan begin on Monday, February 2, 2026, with purchases including a free character sticker while supplies last.
