Hatsune Miku Gets Her Own Official Chocolate in New FamilyMart Exclusive Collab

One of Japan’s most recognisable chocolate brands has announced a “dream collaboration” with the virtual singer Hatsune Miku, which is soon to launch exclusively at FamilyMart convenience stores across Japan.
Tirol has announced the release of “Tirol Choco <Miku-Miku Milk Mint>”, which serves as the centerpiece for a multi-company promotional project.

This confectionery combines a refreshing mint-flavored base with a smooth milk cream center.
The mint layer contains a cooling flavor agent for a crisp texture, while the milk cream, enriched with condensed milk, offers a gentle sweetness designed to balance the flavor profile.

This combination aims to make the treat accessible even to those who are typically hesitant about chocolate mint.
The packaging showcases 10 different designs featuring “sweet and meltingly cute” illustrations by Yumenouchi.

The illustrator, known for their “chibi” character art, has reinterpreted Miku specifically for this milk-themed release.

Beyond the chocolate itself, the “Tirol Miku Project” expands into a broader campaign involving prize goods, print services, and specialty retail items.
Amusement arcade goods manufacturer Furyu will release six types of amusement prizes to game centers across Japan, including a “Trio-Try-iT Figure” of Miku in a Tirol-themed outfit, plush toys, and tote bags.

Additionally, e-Print Service will offer five different photo prints via multi-copy machines in Lawson, FamilyMart, and Ministop stores, allowing fans to print Yumenouchi’s artwork.

Nippon Department Store will also host a pop-up at its Akihabara, Omiya, and Yokohama locations, selling exclusive snacks like “Choco Mint Marshmallows” and “Miku-Miku Milk Snowballs” alongside acrylic stands and other merchandise.

To celebrate the launch, a social media campaign will run for two weeks, offering three lucky winners a set of prize goods and a box of 30 “Miku-Miku Milk Mint” chocolates.

A special Instagram Live broadcast featuring representatives from Tirol, Crypton Future Media, and Furyu is scheduled for the evening of the launch to discuss the project in detail.
The “Tirol Choco <Miku-Miku Milk Mint>” goes on sale Monday, January 26, 2026, and will be available individually for 43 yen (approx. $0.30 USD / £0.25 GBP).
