Guts takes on the Sea God as pre-orders open for new Berserk ‘Figuarts Zero Touche Métallique’ figure
BANDAI SPIRITS is set to release a striking new statue featuring Guts from the acclaimed dark fantasy series Berserk, depicted in his formidable Berserker Armor.
This figure will be part of the “Figuarts Zero Touche Métallique” line, which is known for its dynamic poses and unique metallic finishes.
Berserk, created by Kentaro Miura, is a globally recognized manga and anime series, celebrated for its mature themes, intricate world-building, and intense battles.
Guts, the protagonist, often dons the cursed Berserker Armor, which grants him immense power but at a severe cost to his sanity.
The statue captures Guts in a powerful pose, inspired by the “Sea God Battle” arc from the series.
Sculptor Ryu Oyama, recognized for his expertise in creature design, has brought the character to life with impressive detail.
A standout feature is Guts’ signature weapon, the “Dragon Slayer,” which boasts partial metallic plating
The sculpture also includes vividly detailed tentacles of the Sea God, adding to the imposing nature of the display.
The “Figuarts Zero Touche Métallique” line distinguishes itself by using a hybrid of plating and standard paintwork to achieve a realistic metallic sheen.
This approach, combined with the line’s focus on dynamism/sense of motion in its figures, ensures a visually impactful representation of the characters featured.
The “Figuarts Zero Touche Métallique Guts (Berserker Armor)” statue stands approximately 350mm (13.8 inches) tall, and it is constructed from ABS and PVC.
Each set includes the main figure (with its base), a collection sheet, and display support parts.
The statue is scheduled for release in January 2026 and will be priced at ¥22,000 (approx. $153 USD / £113 GBP).
