Goro Majima Nendoroid unveiled by Good Smile Company

Good Smile Arts Shanghai has showcased the first painted prototype of their upcoming Nendoroid figure for Goro Majima from the popular Yakuza video game series.
This reveal provides fans with their most detailed look yet at the stylized rendition of the “Mad Dog of Shimano.”
A huge range of new Nendoroids were announced over the last week, as part of Good Smile Company’s “NENDOROID FUNS” event.

The Nendoroid line, introduced by Good Smile Company in 2006, is known for its “chibi” or super-deformed style, featuring characters with large heads and smaller bodies.
These articulated figures, typically around 100mm tall, come with interchangeable face plates and body parts, allowing for a range of expressions and poses.
The series has become a staple for collectors, covering a vast array of anime, manga, and video game characters.
Goro Majima is one of the most iconic and recognizable characters from Sega’s Yakuza (known as Ryū Ga Gotoku in Japan) series.
A highly unpredictable and flamboyant yakuza lieutenant, Majima is known for his distinctive eye-patch, snake-skin jacket, and chaotic fighting style.

His complex relationship with protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, oscillating between friendly rivalry and fierce antagonism, has made him a fan-favorite across the series’ numerous installments, including Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2.
His unpredictable nature and memorable personality have cemented his status as a key figure in the franchise’s gritty underworld.
Good Smile Company has previously released Nendoroids from the Yakuza series, including Kazuma Kiryu himself.

Further details regarding Nendoroid Goro Majima, including a complete list of accessories, pricing, and official release schedule, are expected to be announced by Good Smile Arts Shanghai and Good Smile Company in the near future.
