GiGO opens new arcade in one of Osaka's most stylish areas

GENDA GiGO Entertainment has announced the grand opening of a new arcade and entertainment venue in Osaka.

“GiGO NU Chayamachi” will officially open at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 21st 2025.

This establishment will be located within the “NU Chayamachi”, a shopping mall located in the stylish Chayamachi area which is close to Hankyu Osaka Umeda Station.

The strategic location of “GiGO NU Chayamachi” places it a mere one-minute walk from the Chayamachi exit of Hankyu Railway’s Osaka Umeda Station, ensuring easy accessibility for those looking to get their game on.

GiGO will occupy space on the fourth floor of the NU Chayamachi building, which is currently undergoing renovations to align with a new concept: “a facility where you can pursue and enjoy what you love to the fullest.”

Notably, this marks the first instance of GiGO opening a store within a commercial facility operated by the Hankyu Hanshin Group.

The store’s design prioritizes customer convenience and enjoyment. The placement of print sticker, or “Purikura”, machines adjacent to the crane game area allows patrons to seamlessly transition between activities.

A dresser will be provided within the print sticker machine corner, catering to customers who wish to enhance their appearance before capturing memorable moments.

An attractive feature of “GiGO NU Chayamachi” is the frequent turnover of prizes, which are exclusive to GiGO and refreshed weekly.

Prizes will be updated weekly to ensure that arcade fans have plenty of reason to keep coming back

This ensures a constantly evolving selection, appealing to both dedicated game enthusiasts and individuals seeking merchandise related to their favorite idols.

In total, “GiGO Nu Chayamachi” will have a total of 87 crane game machines and 3 “Purikura”/print sticker machines.

To celebrate the grand opening, a special gift campaign will be held. Customers who complete a questionnaire at “GiGO NU Chayamachi” will receive a free “GiGO Soda.”.
