Genshin Impact's new Duolingo collab rewards gamers for learning languages

A unique global collaboration event has begun between the open-world RPG Genshin Impact and the language learning app Duolingo.

The “Genshin Impact Quest” features the green owl Duo teaming up with Paimon, Tighnari, and Cyno.

The event runs from December 8, 2025, at 12:00 AM (UTC) until December 27, 2025, at 11:59 PM (UTC).

Players can earn an exclusive, Duolingo-themed reward bundle for use in Genshin Impact by extending their Duolingo streak by 3 days during the event period.

To participate, users must “Join the quest” either through an opt-in screen that appears after completing a lesson or by selecting the “Genshin Impact Quest” from the Quests tab in the Duolingo app.

Since the quest requires 3 days to complete, users must join by December 25, 2025, at 11:59 PM (UTC) to allow enough time.

Once opted in, users must maintain their streak for 3 consecutive days.

Importantly, Streak Freezes do not count towards progress, and if a streak is broken before reaching 3 days, the quest will fail and cannot be restarted.

Upon successful completion, players will receive a unique redemption code for the “Genshin Impact Reward Bundle.”

This bundle includes the following items:

Avatar “Diligent Study” x1
- A special profile picture featuring Duo.
Namecard “Celebration: Dream Reader” x1
- An exclusive background for the player profile.
Recipe “Spiced Fried Chicken” x1
Food “Spiced Fried Chicken” x1
- A special Duolingo-themed dish.
Mystic Enhancement Ore x4
Hero’s Wit x2

In addition to the game rewards, users will also earn Gems within the Duolingo app as they progress.

The redemption code must be claimed via the Duolingo Shop tab by December 30, 2025, and redeemed on the official Genshin Impact website by January 31, 2026.
