This year, Lotteria, a popular fast-food chain, is getting a head start on the spring festivities with its “Lotteria’s Sakura Sweets Fair”, which is set to offer a trio of limited-edition cherry blossom-infused delights.
The first of these new menu items is the indulgent Sakura Parfait Shake which is priced at 390 yen (approx. $2.57 USD / £2.07 GBP).

The milkshake has been crafted with a fragrant cherry blossom syrup that infuses the creamy base.
The experience is elevated with delicate shavings of white chocolate and sakura flavored chocolate flakes, adding a touch of elegance to this parfait-inspired beverage.
The Sakura Shake priced at 290 yen (approx. $1.91 USD / £1.54 GBP) offers a simpler but equally delightful experience.

This shake features the same sakura-flavored syrup as its parfait counterpart, but without the cream and chocolate topping.
Perhaps the most intriguing offering is the Sakura Mochi Pie which can be bought for 240 yen (approx. $1.58 USD / £1.27 GBP).

Encased in a charming pink, sakura-colored crust lies a dual filling of cherry blossom and milk cream.
What sets this pie apart is the inclusion of salt-pickled sakura leaves within the filling.
This traditional Japanese technique, known as shiozuke, enhances the floral notes of the cherry blossoms, creating a complex and satisfying flavor profile.
The pie is designed to evoke the taste of sakura mochi, a traditional sweet rice cake enjoyed during the cherry blossom season.
