Japan is getting a new exclusive Pepsi flavor – but you can only buy it in one place

Pepsi will be releasing a new Japan exclusive flavor this March.

Pepsi ZERO PEACH, a new limited-edition beverage, has been created to celebrate the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo which runs from April to October this year.

Suntory, the Japanese licensor for Pepsi, has a long-standing connection with Expo events in Japan.

They had their own pavilion at Osaka Expo ’70 as well as the expos held in 1981, 1985 and 1990 in Kobe, Tsukuba and Osaka.

Now, 55 years since their first involvement, they are stepping up to enliven this year’s Expo with a new Pepsi flavor.

Recognizing the popularity of peach flavors in Japan, Suntory has infused this zero-calorie cola with white peach extract.

The result is a delightful blend of the rich sweetness and juiciness of ripe peaches, perfectly balanced with the refreshing and invigorating taste that Pepsi is known for.

Suntory has partnered with HERALBONY, a creative company dedicated to transforming the perceptions of disabled people, to create the packaging for the new drink.

HERALBONY collaborates with corporations to integrate art into various business sectors, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative solutions.

Managing over 2,000 artists with disabilities, the company licenses their artwork and ensures the artists receive fair royalties for their creations, providing them with financial independence and recognition for their talent.

Working with HERALBONY, Suntory commissioned artist Atsuhito Fujiki to create a piece of artwork to be used as the packaging of Pepsi ZERO PEACH.

Fujiki’s artwork was inspired by the Expo theme “Designing a Future Society Where Life Shines” and is a burst of color and energy, reflecting the optimism and innovation that the Expo represents.

Pepsi ZERO PEACH is set to go on sale from Tuesday, March 25th 2025, and will only be available from stores located in the Kansai region of Japan.
