You won’t be able to eat the giant new Choco Pie released in Japan
Lotte’s Choco Pie has been one of Japan’s favorite snacks for decades, and a new version of the iconic sweet treat has been released – but you won’t be able to eat it.
Japanese publisher Takarajimasha have released a new magazine celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Choco Pie.
The main selling point of this magazine isn’t the content, but a fluffy cushion that comes with it!
Shaped just like a Choco Pie with a bite taken from it, this cushion is sure to be popular with fans of the snack.
The cushion can be used as an armrest, cushion or a hugging/body pillow, depending on your preference.
As well as this cute cushion, the “LOTTE CHOCO PIE Fluffy Cushion BOOK” magazine includes information about the Choco Pie and its history.
The magazine also includes some weird and wonderful recipes for fans to try, including Choco Pie Sandwiches and Choco Pie Tempura!
The “LOTTE CHOCO PIE Fluffy Cushion BOOK” is priced at 3,289 yen (approx. $21.04 USD / £17.28 GBP) and is available direct from Takarajimasha as well as Amazon and Rakuten.
Takarajimasha do not ship directly to non-Japanese addresses but they are partnered with Worldshopping so that overseas customers can order their products.
