Exclusive Sazabi and Sinanju Gunpla kits get a re-release as pre-orders open for new wave of restocks

A new wave of pre-orders has opened for a restock of five different popular and exclusive Gunpla kits.

The lineup features a variety of mobile suits from across the Universal Century timeline, with a focus on premium and unique variants.

Two of the main highlights of the restock are “Special Coating” versions of popular Real Grade (RG) kits.

“Real Grade” is a line of 1/144 scale model kits known for its incredible detail, and the “Special Coating” is a premium, multi-layered finish that gives the final model a luxurious, metallic appearance.

The full lineup of re-released items is as follows:

• RG 1/144 Sazabi [Special Coating]
  • Price: ¥11,770 (approx. $80 USD/£59 GBP)

A premium-finish version of Char Aznable’s iconic mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack.

• RG 1/144 Sinanju [Special Coating]
  • Price: ¥11,770 (approx. $80 USD/£59 GBP)

A premium-finish version of the ornate mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn.

• RG 1/144 G-3 Gundam Ver.2.0
  • Price: ¥4,180 (approx. $28 USD/£21 GBP)

A “Ver. 2.0” of the G-3 Gundam from the MSV line, featuring new parts for its signature magnetic coating.

• HG 1/144 GM Spartan
  • Price: ¥2,640 (approx. $18 USD/£13 GBP)

A High Grade kit of the fan-favorite “phantom unit” designed for jungle warfare.

• HG 1/144 Messer F02 Type with Minelayer Equipment
  • Price: ¥3,740 (approx. $25 USD/£19 GBP)

A new variant of the Messer from the film Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash.

All five kits are Premium Bandai exclusives, meaning that they are not available through general retail channels.

The re-release of the sought-after model kits began on Tuesday, the 26th of August, on the Premium Bandai online store.

Each kit is being sold in limited quantities for this production run, and pre-orders may close early if the prepared stock is depleted.
