Exclusive figure of Eiichiro Oda to go on sale at Tokyo’s new One Piece store

BANDAI SPIRITS has unveiled a fully painted sample of a new “World Collectible Figure” (WCF) based on a self-portrait of the creator of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda.
The figure depicts the prolific manga artist as he appears in a self-portrait he drew, which featured his head replaced with a fish.

This unusual self-depiction is in line with Oda’s sense of humor.

The “World Collectible Figure” line, manufactured by Bandai Spirits, is a popular series of stylized, small-scale figures (typically around 7 cm tall).

The decision to include the creator of One Piece, albeit in a fish-headed form, highlights the popular franchise’s unique place in Japanese pop culture.

This particular figure is set to be sold exclusively at the ONE PIECE BASE SHOP.

The shop, which serves as the official flagship store for the global One Piece franchise, will soon open in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and will offer a vast array of unique, original, and often limited-run merchandise that cannot be purchased elsewhere.

This exclusivity is a deliberate move to draw in both Japanese fans and international tourists looking for rare One Piece treasures.
The figure’s price has been confirmed as ¥2,200, and it will be available from the 5th of December, 2025, when the new One Piece Base store first opens.
