Evangelion’s official work tool range expands with a new range of themed shovels
A new and unexpected collaboration has been announced that will bring the world of the anime series Evangelion to a line of professional-grade shovels.
The new product, the “A.T.FIELD Kin-Zō Shovel,” is a partnership between the “A.T.FIELD EVANGELION WORK” brand and the historic Japanese tool manufacturer, Asaka Industrial.
Asaka Industrial is a company with a legacy stretching back to 1661, and in 1893, it became the first company to domestically produce shovels in Japan.
Its “Kin-Zōjirushi,” or “Golden Elephant Brand,” is the number one-selling brand of shovels and scoops in the country, known for its incredible durability and quality.
The “A.T.FIELD” brand creates tough and functional workwear and tools that are themed around the world of Evangelion.
This new collaboration combines the two, resulting in a high-quality tool that is also a unique collector’s item.
The shovels are available in two different color schemes, each inspired by a different Evangelion unit.
One is a purple and green “Unit-01 Model,” and the other is a red and orange “Unit-02 Model.”
The lineup includes four different shovel variations, with both round and square-headed versions available in a standard and a smaller “S” size.

The new shovels will be exhibited at the “61st JAPAN DIY HOMECENTER SHOW 2025” in Makuhari Messe from the 21st to the 23rd of August, 2025.
The products will be sold online through the official Evangelion Store and the Asaka Industrial “Kin-Zō Honpo” e-commerce site.
The official sales launch for the “A.T.FIELD Kin-Zō Shovel” is scheduled for Tuesday, the 30th of September, 2025.
