El Paso, Elsewhere 2 Coming to Xbox Series and PC

Developer Strange Scaffold has officially announced El Paso, Elsewhere 2, the sequel to the 2023 neo-noir third-person shooter, during the PC Gaming Show on June 7, 2026.
Scheduled for release in 2027, the game is coming to PC via Steam and Xbox Series X|S.
The story follows returning protagonist James Savage, a monster hunter who finds himself betrayed by a close friend and dragged into the Void to repay a debt to an eldritch horror.
Set after the events of the original game, the sequel features more than 20 handcrafted levels including nightclubs, multi-dimensional libraries, and eerie suburban locations.
Players will utilize 15 different weapons, such as Western revolvers and a Tommy Gun that fires stakes, to battle enemies like gargoyles, possessed animatronics, and biblically accurate angels.
The gameplay introduces new vampiric abilities that allow James Savage to dive through the air and feed on the blood of his opponents.
Strange Scaffold studio head Xalavier Nelson Jr noted that the studio nearly closed during the development of the first game, making this sequel a significant milestone for the team.
The project features a new horror rap album produced by RJ Lake and a multi-genre instrumental soundtrack by Chicago producer kalibration.
This announcement follows recent news of a film adaptation of the franchise starring LaKeith Stanfield.
