Dragon Ball 4v4 team battle game Gekishin Squadra adds five new characters on launch day

The new 4v4 team battle game “Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra” has officially been released.
To celebrate the game’s launch, a new commercial has been released, featuring the actor Hayato Isomura, the performer ELLY from the group J SOUL BROTHERS III, the comedian Sunshine Ikezaki, and the Nogizaka46 idol Hina Okamoto.

A social media campaign is also being held to commemorate the new commercial, where a total of 1,000 participants can win prizes such as a ¥10,000 gift code.
In addition to the previously announced roster of seventeen characters, five new playable “heroes” have also been added to the game at launch, bringing the total to twenty-two.
The five new characters are:
- Cell (Perfect Form)

Cell can absorb “Bio-Energy” from enemies to strengthen himself and transform.

- Android 17

Android 17 is a supportive hero who can protect his allies with a barrier.

- Hit

A hitman who can ambush enemies from their blind spots and inflict a “fear of death” status.

- Super Saiyan Kale (Berserk)

A two-sided hero who can switch between a ranged, harassing playstyle and a frontline, berserker mode.

- Gamma 1 & Gamma 2

A “super” hero who can switch between the group-focused Gamma 1 and the single-target-focused Gamma 2, and can perform a powerful combination attack.

Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra is an “overwhelming team battle” game where players form a “squadra,” or a team of four, to compete in intense 4v4 battles.

The free-to-play title is now available on the App Store, Google Play, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, and supports full cross-play and cross-save functionality between all platforms.
