Demon Slayer’s official fragrance line returns to celebrate Infinity Castle movie’s worldwide release
Japanese character fragrance specialty brand “primaniacs” has announced a re-release of its popular and extensive fragrance collection based on the world of the hit anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
This is a reissue of a collection that was first released in 2019, timed to coincide with the worldwide release of the first Infinity Castle movie, and features updated packaging.
Primaniacs is a brand that aims to express a character’s “presence” through fragrance, creating scents designed to evoke the feeling that the character is right there with you.
The brand has recently released a number of other anime-themed ranges, including one that focuses on My Hero Academia’s “League of Villains”.
This re-release of the Demon Slayer fragrance range brings back the full, 13-character lineup, which translates the personalities and beliefs of the main cast and all nine of the Hashira into complex perfumes.
Each fragrance comes with a character card that explains the scent’s profile.
The lineup of thirteen different fragrances includes:
- Tanjiro Kamado
A gentle and warm fragrance with a fresh, powerful citrus top note and a soft, sandalwood and musk base.
- Nezuko Kamado
A fragrance that holds an unbreakable bond, with a lovely top note of lilac and apple that gives way to a transparent, honey and raspberry base.
- Zenitsu Agatsuma
A scent that cuts through the sky, with a bright bergamot top note and a warm, gentle base of musk and cedarwood.
- Inosuke Hashibira
A fragrance that feels like a summer cloud, with a wild, powerful petitgrain top note and a cool, beautiful lavender and musk base.
- Giyu Tomioka
A scent as calm as a placid water surface, with a clear, clean herbal top note and a gentle, warm cedarwood and musk base.
- Shinobu Kocho
A fragrance that invites you into an endless illusion, with an elegant white musk and wisteria middle note.
- Kyojuro Rengoku
A scent that carries a burning flame within, with a powerful, cheerful labdanum top note and a noble, spicy and pine base.
- Tengen Uzui
A fragrance that captivates with a brilliant flash, with a flamboyant citrus green top note and a strong, warm vetiver and leather base.
- Muichiro Tokito
A scent filled with a pure presence, with a clear, ice-like ozone top note and a gentle, sweet benzoin and amber base.
- Gyomei Himejima
A fragrance wrapped in warmth and solemnity, with a clean top note of white chrysanthemum and a deep, gentle base of kyara wood and frankincense.
- Mitsuri Kanroji
A scent that brings love and excitement, with a fresh leaf note top, a floral heart of sakura and peony, and a white cedar and musk base.
- Obanai Iguro
A scent where black and white secretly mix, with a sharp, snake-like green note and a calming, single ray of light from the cedarwood base.
- Sanemi Shinazugawa
A fragrance that unleashes a brave whirlwind, with a bittersweet clary sage top note and a spicy, juniper berry and matcha middle.
Each of the 30ml fragrances in the collection is priced at ¥7,920 (approx. $53 USD/£40 GBP).
The collection will have an advance, in-person pre-sale at the primaniacs Ginza flagship store, which is scheduled to begin on Friday, the 17th of October, 2025.
A general in-store and online release via the primaniacs online store is scheduled to follow on Saturday, the 8th of November, 2025.
