Demon Slayer onigiri and sandwiches arrive at FamilyMart

FamilyMart has launched the second phase of its massive collaboration campaign with the anime series, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.
The campaign, titled “Take a Break with Tanjiro and Friends at Famima,” is being held to commemorate the recent theatrical release of the film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Infinity Castle Arc Part 1.

The FamilyMart x Demon Slayer promotion began on Tuesday, the 15th of July, and is running at all of the approximately 16,300 FamilyMart locations across the country.

A cornerstone of the collaboration is a new set of illustrations drawn by the anime studio ufotable, which depicts characters like Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Giyu, and Shinobu wearing special haori coats designed with FamilyMart’s green and blue corporate colors.

The second wave of products, which was released on Tuesday, the 22nd of July, introduces two new character-themed food items.
The “”Tanjiro & Giyu’s Break – The Bond Between Two People” Onigiri Set, priced at ¥398, contains two different rice balls.

One is a Nozawana greens and wakame seaweed rice ball, and the other is a pickled plum and shiso leaf rice ball, with the colors designed to evoke the haori coats worn by Tanjiro Kamado and Giyu Tomioka.
The second new item is “Zenitsu & Chuntaro’s Egg Sandwich BOX”, priced at ¥459.

This box features an egg salad and boiled egg sandwich, with the yellow color themed after the character Zenitsu Agatsuma and his companion sparrow, Chuntaro.
In addition to the new food, a second set of gift-with-purchase promotions has also started.
In the “Onigiri Course,” customers who purchase any three onigiri products will receive one “Successive Key Visual Sticker” on a first-come, first-served basis.

In the “Snack Course,” customers who buy two qualifying snack items will receive one “Original Acrylic Charm,” which features the new, exclusive artwork drawn for the campaign by the anime studio ufotable.

Both of the new gift-with-purchase campaigns are scheduled to run from the 22nd of July until the 4th of August, 2025, or until the stock of prizes at each store is depleted.
The previously announced wider range of food items that form the basis of the FamilyMart x Demon Slayer collaboration are also still available whilst stocks last:
