‘Dandadan Gyoza’ and ‘Dandadan’ anime announce highly anticipated collab

Japan’s popular ‘Dandadan Gyoza’ restaurant chain has announced a special collaboration with the highly acclaimed TV anime of the same name, ‘Dandadan’.

The partnership, which will run for approximately one month, marks a long-awaited event for fans of both the restaurant and the anime.

Founded in Chofu, Tokyo, in 2011, Dandadan Gyoza has become a nationwide favorite, built on the concept of providing a relaxed atmosphere where customers can savor delicious gyoza and beer.

With the chain sharing its name with the popular manga/anime series, customers have long requested a collaboration between the restaurant and ‘Dandadan’, and it seems that they’ll finally get what they’ve been asking for.

Special artwork featuring Turbo Granny in her cat form has been created for the collaboration, with these new illustrations featuring on promotional material and on exclusive items that fans can get hold of at Dandadan Gyoza stores.

The collaboration will feature a special lineup of six uniquely colored theme drinks, each inspired by different menu items from Dandadan Gyoza.

As a special bonus, each collaboration drink order will include one exclusive glitter illustration card of Turbo Granny, with seven different designs available at random.

In addition to the themed beverages, a range of exclusive collaboration merchandise will be available for purchase at Dandadan Gyoza locations during the event period.

The collaboration will take place from Friday, April 25th to Sunday, May 25th, 2025, with fans able to pick up the new menu items and collab goods during this time.
