Cast revealed as GACHIAKUTA stage play announced for Spring 2026 debut

It has been confirmed that a stage play adaptation of Kei Urana’s manga Gachiakuta is currently in production, with Go Ueki attached to direct.
Ueki expressed his enthusiasm for the source material’s “dope and punk” worldview, promising to bring its unique graffiti-laden aesthetic to life through theatrical expression.

Accompanying the announcement, the production released a key visual featuring the assembled cast and a teaser video that depicts protagonist Rudo battling a trash monster, known as an Aberrant Beast, and his fateful meeting with the character Enjin.

The production has confirmed the following cast members for the adaptation:
- Hikaru Imamaki as Rudo

- Yuta Tachibana as Enjin

- Yu Fukuzawa as Zanka

- Sena as Riyo

- Dai Isono as Corvus

- Saho Aono as Semiu

- Masamichi Satonaka as Tamsy

- Masaru Arai as Delmon

- Takeshi Terayama as Gurisu

- Yui Soma as Amo

- Reia Nanase as Remlin

- Ryosei Tanaka as Jabber

This theatrical adaptation adds to a rapidly growing media footprint for the Gachiakuta franchise.
The original manga, written by Kei Urana with graffiti design by Hideyoshi Ando, centers on Rudo, a boy from a floating city who is cast down into a trash-filled pit where he must master strange powers to survive.

The series has seen a flurry of major announcements in recent days; the television anime’s production staff recently confirmed that a second season is officially in the works following the conclusion of the first season.

Game publisher Com2uS has also announced the development of GACHIAKUTA: The Game, a survival action RPG slated for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.

The stage play is scheduled to be performed at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Stellar Ball in Tokyo from May 22 to May 31, followed by a run at the ROHM Theatre Kyoto South Hall from June 5 to June 7.
Ticket lottery applications for the performances began on December 21, via the official website.
