Capcom announces Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
Capcom has officially announced Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection.
This new title is the next major installment in the turn-based, story-focused role-playing game series that is a spin-off of the main Monster Hunter franchise.
The Monster Hunter Stories games offer a different experience from the mainline action titles.
Instead of hunting monsters, players take on the role of “Riders,” individuals who can form bonds with and fight alongside friendly monsters known as “Monsties.”
According to Capcom, a new tale of Riders and monsters is set to take flight.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is described as the next evolution of the turn-based, story-rich RPG series.
Twin Rathalos, born in a twist of fate, ignite the long dormant flames of war between two fractured nations: Azuria and Vermeil.
The player is the heir to the kingdom of Azuria, and the sole Rathalos Rider in the kingdom.
On the brink of war and amidst strange phenomena threatening the world, a life changing event propels the player beyond the Meridian, and on an unforgettable journey in search of the truth.
An announcement trailer for the new game has been released, giving fans a first look at the new story and its characters.
The game has been announced for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC via Steam, and Switch 2.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is scheduled to launch sometime in 2026.
