The footage showcases the Shazhou City level of the cinematic, single-player, linear action adventure game.
NetEase Games describes the experience as a blend of visceral combat and stealth mechanics.
Players can expect a fluid and brutal combat system that utilizes light and heavy attacks, dodging, blocking, parrying, countering, and execution moves.
The narrative follows a protagonist attempting to escape encirclement by enemy forces while his home city faces significant upheaval.
His primary motivation throughout the story is to return home, find his son, and escape to safety.
Developed by the studio behind Naraka: Bladepoint, this project marks a shift toward a story-driven solo experience for 24 Entertainment Linan.
Blood Message is currently in development for both PC and consoles, although a specific release date has not been announced.
The project was recently featured during the Summer Game Fest 2026 events to provide fans with a deeper look at the gameplay.
