BAPE®︎ and Tom and Jerry team up for 85th anniversary collection

A BATHING APE®︎, more commonly known as BAPE®︎, has revealed a collaborative collection with the timelessly popular “Tom and Jerry”, as the iconic duo approaches its 85th anniversary in 2025.

This collaboration celebrates the enduring legacy of “Tom and Jerry,” which first graced screens in 1940 and has since been seen by multiple generations of viewers.

To mark this significant milestone, BAPE®︎ has curated a limited-edition collection featuring apparel and accessories available in both men’s and children’s sizes, fostering opportunities for coordinated looks between parents and their children.

The collection is segmented into two distinct lines: the “Core Art” series, which showcases the contemporary character designs, and the “Vintage Art” series, which pays homage to the animation’s earlier aesthetic.

The “Core Art” series presents a wide range of items, including T-shirts, full-zip hoodies, sweatshirts, pouches, and doll sets.

TOM AND JERRY 85TH TEE

The T-shirt lineup consists of four designs, with one design incorporating the BAPE®︎ signature “APE HEAD” alongside graphics of Tom and Jerry, and another featuring “APE HEAD,” Tom, Jerry, the guard dog Spike, and the young mouse Tuffy.

Both designs are available in classic black and white colorways.

The sweat-tee features a playful arrangement of the BAPE®︎ “COLLEGE” logo and charming graphics of APE HEAD, Tom, and Jerry, offered in gray and yellow hues.

TOM & JERRY 1ST CAMO FULL ZIP HOODIE

The full-zip hoodie, adorned with the signature “1ST CAMO” camouflage pattern, is available in both men’s and children’s sizes, with Tom’s face appearing on the men’s version and Jerry’s on the kids’ version.

The design ingeniously allows the characters’ faces to be revealed when the zipper is fully closed, complete with detailed ears and whiskers.

The doll set, crafted by NICI, a renowned German stuffed animal manufacturer, features Tom and Jerry sporting the “1ST CAMO” “COLLEGE” hoodie, with a special 85th anniversary label on the back.

The “1ST CAMO” all-over pattern pouch, available in green for Tom and yellow for Jerry, also showcases the characters’ faces.

The “Vintage Art” series features ringer T-shirts with piping on the collar and cuffs, available in ivory and black, showcasing classic graphics and the “A BATHING APE®︎” logo.

The crew neck sweatshirt, offered in gray and yellow, features monochrome “APE HEAD” and Tom and Jerry illustrations for a vintage-inspired look.

All items in the collection are adorned with a special collaboration tag commemorating the anniversary year.

The collection will be available for pre-sale on the BAPE.COM WEB STORE on Saturday, February 22, 2025, followed by a release at A BATHING APE®︎ authorized retailers on Saturday, March 1, 2025.
