Bandai reveals new Char’s Zaku (GQ) Gunpla kit images as it prepares for launch
Bandai Spirits has released new product images for an upcoming model kit from the anime Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX.
The kit is the “HG 1/144 Char’s Zaku (GQ),” representing the custom mobile suit piloted by the legendary Char Aznable in the new series.
This High Grade kit faithfully reproduces the mobile suit in Char’s personal red color scheme.
It features a newly sculpted Zaku Bazooka as its primary weapon.
The engineering allows for dynamic action poses, with shoulder blocks that move independently to accommodate aggressive posturing.
The mono-eye is also movable, allowing builders to change the direction of the Zaku’s gaze.
To further enhance the realism, the kit comes with marking stickers designed to recreate the mobile suit’s appearance from the anime.
Bandai Spirits previously revealed the box art for this kit, which features an illustration evoking the tension of Char’s infiltration of Side 7.
This kit is part of a major December release wave for Gunpla fans.
It launches alongside another kit from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, the “HG 1/144 White Gundam,” as well as Premium Bandai exclusives like the “HG 1/144 Gundam Griepe.”
The “HG 1/144 Char’s Zaku (GQ)” is priced at 2,420 yen (approx. $15.72 USD / £12.33 GBP) and is scheduled to be released on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
