Bandai reveals full details and pricing for METAL BUILD Gundam Barbatos

Pre-orders are set to open for one of the most highly anticipated additions to the premium METAL BUILD figure line.
The new “METAL BUILD Gundam Barbatos (4th Form) + Boomerang Mace” is based on the protagonist suit from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans.

This figure features the brand’s signature die-cast internal frame, designed to dynamically express the unique structure of the Gundam Frame and the Alaya-Vijnana System.

A major highlight of this release is the inclusion of completely new equipment conceptualized by series director Tatsuyuki Nagai and designed by mechanical designer Naohiro Washio.

This includes a massive “Boomerang Mace” and a “Crimson Cloak,” items that give the mobile suit a fresh, never-before-seen appearance.

The cloak features a reversible design, displaying the Tekkadan mark and the kanji characters for “Mikazuki Augus.”

Here are the full product details as confirmed by Bandai Spirits:
- METAL BUILD Gundam Barbatos (4th Form) + Boomerang Mace

The figure stands approximately 18 centimeters tall and is made from ABS, PVC, and die-cast metal.

It includes the standard Mace and Long Sword (Tachi) seen in the anime, as well as the new Boomerang Mace and reversible Crimson Cloak.

The set comes with four pairs of interchangeable hands, joint parts, and a dedicated display stand.

This figure was confirmed at the recent TAMASHII NATION 2025 event earlier this November.

It is part of a massive wave of merchandise celebrating the show’s 10th anniversary, joining the recently announced “STRICT-G Reversible Gundam Barbatos Sukajan,” the “METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Gundam Marchosias,” and the “MG Gundam Barbatos Lupus Expansion Set.”

The “METAL BUILD Gundam Barbatos (4th Form) + Boomerang Mace” is priced at 35,200 yen (approx. $230.50 USD / £182.50 GBP).

Pre-orders are scheduled to open on December 2 at 16:00 (JST) via the Premium Bandai online store and other official retail partners.
The figure is scheduled to ship in June 2026.
