A special merchandise collection celebrating the 45th anniversary of the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise has returned for a second round of pre-orders.

The collaboration fuses the world of the “Real Robot” anime pioneer with the global virtual singer phenomenon, Hatsune Miku, resulting in a unique crossover character design known as “Miku Haro.”

Mobile Suit Gundam, which first aired in 1979, redefined the mecha genre by depicting mobile suits as weapons of war rather than superheroic entities.

While the series is famous for the conflict between Amuro Ray’s Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon, it also introduced Haro, a small, spherical robot pet constructed by Amuro.

Haro has since become the de facto mascot of the entire Gundam franchise, appearing in numerous sequels and timelines.

This special “Miku Haro” iteration reimagines the mascot with Hatsune Miku’s signature teal color palette.

The design modifies Haro’s iconic flapping ear covers to include the square hair accessories that are a staple of Miku’s character design.

Two variations of this crossover mascot are currently available.

The first is the “Plushie Miku Haro,” a large stuffed toy designed to be held or displayed on a sofa.

It stands approximately 22cm tall, offering a soft and huggable recreation of the mechanical pet.

The second option is the “Puri Nui Mascot Miku Haro,” a compact version intended for portability.

With a height of roughly 8cm, this palm-sized item comes equipped with a keychain attachment, allowing fans to clip the mascot onto bags or backpacks to take it on outings.

This plush release coincides with other major announcements from the “Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku” project.

Bandai Spirits recently unveiled the “HG 1/144 RX-78-2 Gundam Ver. 2.0 [Hatsune Miku Color],” a new plastic model kit that reimagines the original Gundam in the singer’s distinctive teal and black color scheme.

Owing to popular demand, it was also confirmed that there will be a resale of the “HG 1/144 Zaku II [Hatsune Miku Color],” giving collectors the opportunity to display the Federation and Zeon suits side-by-side in matching Vocaloid livery.

The “Plushie Miku Haro” is priced at 3,630 yen (approx. $24.00 USD / £17.00 GBP), while the smaller “Puri Nui Mascot Miku Haro” is available for 1,760 yen (approx. $12.00 USD / £8.00 GBP).

Pre-orders for this second production run are currently open via Premium Bandai and will close on April 17, 2026, at 23:00 JST, with shipping scheduled for August 2026.
