Bandai announces re-release of two popular Gundam Wing G-Unit model kits

A new wave of pre-orders has opened for a restock of two different popular and exclusive Gunpla model kits from the classic manga series, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Dual Story: G-Unit.
The two sought-after High Grade (HG) 1/144 scale kits are based on mobile suits from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Dual Story: G-Unit, a side-story to the main Gundam Wing anime that introduces a new cast of characters and a unique lineup of transformable and modular mobile suits.

The first of the two re-released kits is the “HG 1/144 Gundam Aesculapius.”

This is the upgraded form of the Gundam Geminass 02, and it features a unique transformation into a “close-combat mode” that makes it resemble the Z’Gok from the Universal Century Gundam series.

The second item is the “HG 1/144 Vayeate Suivant & Mercurius Suivant” set.

This is a two-pack that contains both of the advanced, unmanned mobile dolls that were developed by the OZ Prize organization.

As these are both Premium Bandai exclusives, they are not available through general retail channels, making this re-release a new opportunity for fans of the classic ’90s side-story.

Both of the kits are being sold in limited quantities for this production run, and pre-orders may close early if the available stock sells out.

The “HG 1/144 Gundam Aesculapius” is priced at ¥4,180 (approx. $28 USD/£21 GBP) and is scheduled to be shipped in December of this year.

The “HG 1/144 Vayeate Suivant & Mercurius Suivant” set is priced at ¥5,500 (approx. $37 USD/£28 GBP) and is scheduled to be shipped in February 2026.

Both kits can now be pre-ordered, whilst stocks last, via the Premium Bandai website.
