Bandai announces new Master Grade Full Armor ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka model kit
A highly anticipated new Gunpla model kit has been officially announced by Bandai Spirits.
The new “MG 1/100 Full Armor ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka” was revealed during the “2nd Gunpla 45th Anniversary Special Broadcast.”
The model is part of the “Master Grade” (MG) line, a popular series of 1/100 scale Gunpla known for a high level of detail and complex internal frames.
The “Ver.Ka” designation on this kit signifies that it is a special version that has been produced under the direct supervision of the legendary mecha designer Hajime Katoki, featuring his unique redesigns and markings.
The Full Armor ZZ Gundam is the final, fully upgraded form of the protagonist Judau Ashta’s main mobile suit from the classic 1986 anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ.
Its powerful and imposing design has made it a long-time fan favorite and a frequent request for a modern “Ver.Ka” release.
The initial announcement has confirmed that the new kit is in development.
However, full details regarding the model’s specific features, gimmicks, and accessories have not yet been revealed.
The “MG 1/100 Full Armor ZZ Gundam Ver.Ka” will be priced at ¥12,540 (approx. $85 USD/£63 GBP) and it is scheduled to be released in February 2026.
