The move to bring Avowed to a wider audience follows its initial launch for Xbox Series and PC on February 18, 2025.

Obsidian Entertainment, the studio known for its deep role-playing experiences, developed the game, which has been available across Microsoft Store, Steam, and Battle.net for nearly a year.
