Attack on Titan launches curry house collaboration in Japan

Fans of the anime series Attack on Titan are in for a unique treat, as a special collaboration with the popular curry specialty store ‘100 Hours Curry’ has been announced.

The event will offer an exclusive collaboration menu and a range of themed merchandise.

This new collaboration is begin promoted by 100 Hours Curry with new artwork featuring key characters from Attack on Titan, including Eren Yeager, Levi Ackerman, and Erwin Smith, wearing Arabian-style costumes.

These unique illustrations provide a fresh and imaginative take on the popular characters, setting the stage for a fusion of the anime’s intense world and the rich flavors of 100 Hours Curry.

Branches of 100 Hours Curry can be found in 25 of Japan’s Prefectures

The collaboration promises a wealth of irresistible content for Attack on Titan enthusiasts, including specially crafted collaboration curry dishes inspired by the themes and elements of the anime series, alongside a variety of exclusive and collectible merchandise featuring the new Arabian-themed artwork.

This is the latest in a series of collaborations between Attack on Titan and companies from the Japanese food industry, with another recent collaboration seeing Attack on Titan characters appear on cans of Sapporo Beer.

100 Hours Curry is a restaurant chain is known for its slow-cooked curries, which are simmered for an extended period to achieve a deep and complex taste profile.

Three new curries will be added to the menu, each themed on one of the three characters taking part in the collab:

“Defeated the Cutlet Giant” Curry

This curry uses chicken katsu, a deep fried chicken cutlet, and slow cooked beef to suggest the sight of a defeated titan. It is served with rice and 100 Hours Curry’s original curry sauce.

Shredded Vegetable and Cheese Curry

This curry features rice and 100 Hours Curry’s original curry sauce topped with cheese and shredded vegetables, such as pumpkin, peppers and green beans, as if they had been cut with an ultrahard steel blade.

“Wall Maria” Curry

This curry features an Omelette topped with a boiled egg and is served with both 100 Hours Curry’s original curry sauce and Butter Chicken curry sauce.

The arrangement of the ingredients in this curry is intended to recreate the Walls on Paradis Island.

Every order for one of the new curries will include one of six coasters (selected at random) featuring artwork from the collaboration:

In addition to the in-store menu, a mail-order set will be available which will feature 6 curries that can be cooked at home.

Customers who subscribe to receive the mail-order set every month will receive an exclusive acrylic keychain as a bonus during the first month of their subscription, offering an incentive for dedicated fans.

A range of original collaboration goods featuring the unique Arabian-style artwork will also be available for purchase at participating 100 Hours Curry store locations and through the restaurant’s e-commerce platform.

A wide range of merchandise will be available including badges and acrylic stands

The month-long event will kick off on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, and run until Saturday, May 31st, 2025 and the new curries and merchandise will only be available during this time.
