Assassin’s Creed Shadows announces Attack on Titan collaboration event

Ubisoft has officially announced a crossover event for Assassin’s Creed Shadows featuring the popular anime series Attack on Titan.
The in-game event began distribution on November 25 and is scheduled to run for four weeks until December 22.
This update is free for all players and includes new story content where protagonists Naoe and Yasuke meet a strange woman named Ada.

Guided by Ada, the pair must venture deep into a mysterious crystal cave to save her friend from an unidentified cult conducting forbidden rituals and experiments.
To play the event, users must progress the main story until Yasuke is selectable and find the quest giver located northeast of Yamashiro.

Completing the quest yields limited rewards, such as a new katana found in hidden chests within the cave.
For fans looking to customize their characters further, a paid Attack on Titan theme pack has been added to the in-game store.
This pack includes a Titan-inspired outfit for Yasuke, a Mikasa-inspired outfit for Naoe, and a Survey Corps-themed mount.

The update also includes “The Conundrum,” the third free story drop for the game.
This humorous addition features Naoe and Yasuke teaching each other new combat skills, with Naoe learning a flashy combat kick and Yasuke mastering a silent, non-lethal takedown.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Mac.
The game, along with the Attack on Titan quest, is scheduled to release on the Nintendo Switch 2 on December 2.
