Yowamushi Pedal themed rooms coming to Tokyo hotel

Tokyo’s Sunshine City Prince Hotel will offer new Yowamushi Pedal themed hotel rooms, which can be booked for stays starting in early April.

The hotel first offered anime themed rooms in 2015 as part of their 35th-anniversary celebration.

The first anime they collaborated with was Yowamushi Pedal, and the hotel is now commemorating its 45th anniversary with special rooms themed around the sequel series, Yowamushi Pedal LIMIT BREAK.

The Ikebukuro area hotel, which opened on April 4th, 1980, has since built a reputation of engaging in collaborative projects, particularly with anime and game content.

One room design is based on the series’ Sohoku High School

Over the subsequent decade, these collaborations have become a significant aspect of the hotel’s brand identity and marketing strategy.

Recent collaborations have involved rooms themed on series such as Monogatari and Black Butler.

The hotel is located in Ikebukuro, an area known as a center for manga and anime culture, and these collaborations and themed rooms are a unique way to attract tourists to the Sunshine City Prince Hotel.

The other room design is themed around Hakone Academy

The new Yowamushi Pedal LIMIT BREAK rooms will be available from from Friday, April 4th, to Saturday, July 5th, 2025.

The “Hotel 45th Anniversary Special Project” with “Yowamushi Pedal LIMIT BREAK” will offer several unique experiences:

Original Illustrations:
- Seven original illustrations have been commissioned featuring some of the series most popular characters.
- These illustrations will be incorporated into room decorations, exclusive amenities, hotel card keys, and coasters.
Concept Rooms:
- Two themed concept rooms will be available, each decorated with scenes from the Inter-High School Championships, representing Sohoku High School and Hakone Academy.
Original Drinks:
- Drinks inspired by the team colors of Sohoku High School and Hakone Academy will be served at the hotel café.

Two room types: “Sohoku High School Memorial Room” and “Hakone Academy Memorial Room.”
Rooms will be decorated with memorable scenes from the Inter-High School Championships.
Exclusive original illustrations displayed within the rooms.
Exhibition of actual road bike parts.
Exclusive gift items that guests can take home including: Patch, Bromide Card, Acrylic Diorama and Hotel Key.
