Red and white are seen as auspicious colors in Japan due to their positive meanings, with red representing joy and prosperity, while white symbolizes purity and truth.

The box contains 2 red and 2 white “Kinnikuman Monaka”, a total of 4 pieces, and features an original manga panel design, as well as one Kinnikuman sticker. Each piece is approximately 7cm tall making them the perfect size for snacking.

The bean paste used is made from Tamba Dainagon azuki beans, a high-quality variety that is large, has a good color and flavor, and is very tasty.

Each monaka is packaged separately from the bean paste, as if the wafers were pre-filled they would likely become soggy fairly quickly. This means that you can fill and eat your “Kinnikuman Monaka” whenever you want, with no fear that the snacks will spoil.
