Absolum Hits Xbox Series on March 25

Publisher Dotemu and developers Guard Crush Games and Supamonks have announced that the arcade-inspired beat ’em up Absolum will officially launch for Xbox Series consoles on March 25, 2026.

The upcoming release will also be available to subscribers through the Xbox Game Pass service on the same day.

This expansion follows the game’s initial debut on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, which took place on October 9, 2025.

Since its original launch, the title has achieved a significant milestone by selling over 500,000 units across its available platforms.

Players in this fantasy world must lead a resistance against Sun King Azra and the Crimson Order after magic has been outlawed.

The gameplay experience focuses on a mix of melee combat and magical abilities, allowing users to master spells and counters while exploring hand-crafted stages.

The title features four unique fighters and incorporates roguelite elements to provide unpredictable encounters and high replayability.

In addition to the solo campaign, the game supports cooperative play so that friends can team up to restore magic to the world of Talamh.

A new trailer has been released to showcase the fast-paced side-scrolling action ahead of the March 25, 2026 Xbox arrival.

The project is supported by the combined efforts of several industry companies including Dotemu, Guard Crush Games, Supamonks, and Focus Entertainment.
