A new model kit of the legendary Pokémon Miraidon has been released

A new plastic model kit from Bandai Spirits has been released, featuring the Paradox Pokémon, Miraidon, from the popular video games Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
The new product is the latest entry in the “Pokémon Plamo Collection Select Series.”

Miraidon is the legendary Pokémon that serves as the primary companion and rideable mount for the player in the Pokémon Violet version of the game, and is known for its futuristic, serpentine design.

This new model kit is designed to be highly accessible, even for those who are new to building plastic models.

It utilizes a “snap-fit” construction method that does not require any glue, and a “touch gate” system that allows the parts to be removed from the plastic runners by hand without the need for any special tools.

The kit’s parts are molded in different colors and, combined with an included sticker sheet, allow the builder to create a colorful and complete-looking model without any painting.

The completed figure features articulation in its arms and legs, allowing for a degree of posing.

The set also includes a special display base that is designed to hold the model in a floating, mid-air pose, replicating its appearance in the game.

The “Pokémon Plamo Collection 59 Select Series Miraidon” is priced at ¥2,310 (approx. $16 USD/£12 GBP) and was officially released for sale in Japan on Friday, the 8th of August, 2025.
