7 Twisted Wonderland Nendoroids to be re-released by Good Smile Company
Good Smile Company has announced a new opportunity for fans to pre-order a selection of Nendoroid figures from the popular mobile game and soon to be anime, Disney: Twisted-Wonderland.
This re-release caters to collectors who may have missed initial pre-order windows for 7 of the series’ most popular characters.
The Nendoroid line, produced by Good Smile Company, is known for its “chibi” or super-deformed style, featuring highly articulated figures with interchangeable parts for a variety of poses and expressions.
These figures typically stand around 100mm tall and have become a collectible staple for anime, manga, and video game enthusiasts worldwide.
Disney: Twisted-Wonderland is a mobile game developed by Aniplex and Walt Disney Japan, featuring character designs by Yana Toboso (creator of Black Butler).
The game reimagines Disney villains as bishōnen (beautiful young men) attending a magical academy. Its unique premise, engaging story, and character designs have cultivated a substantial fanbase, particularly in Japan.
The game features seven dormitories, each inspired by a different Disney villain, and the Nendoroids available for re-order represent the leaders or prominent figures from several of these dorms.
The Nendoroids now available for re-order represent some of the most prominent students from Night Raven College.
Each figure comes with various accessories and faceplates to capture their distinct personalities and magical abilities from the game.
The characters available for a second round of pre-orders, along with their prices, include:
- Azul Ashengrotto:
Leader of Octavinelle Dorm (inspired by Ursula from The Little Mermaid). Priced at ¥7,400.
- Idia Shroud:
Head of Ignihyde Dorm (inspired by Hades from Hercules). Priced at ¥7,600.
- Kalim Al-Asim:
Housewarden of Scarabia Dorm (inspired by Jafar from Aladdin). Priced at ¥7,600.
- Leona Kingscholar:
Housewarden of Savanaclaw Dorm (inspired by Scar from The Lion King). Priced at ¥7,400.
- Malleus Draconia:
One of the “Ignihyde Trio” and a powerful magic-user (inspired by Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty). Priced at ¥7,600.
- Riddle Rosehearts:
Housewarden of Heartslabyul Dorm (inspired by the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland). Priced at ¥7,400.
- Vil Schoenheit:
Housewarden of Pomefiore Dorm (inspired by the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs). Priced at ¥7,600.
Due to licensing restrictions, the Twisted Wonderland Nendoroids are currently only available to order through the Japanese Good Smile Company website.
It’s unclear as to whether these restrictions will be lifted once the anime adaptation releases later this year, as licensing restrictions may be resolved as part of the potential appearance of the Twisted Wonderland anime on Disney+.
For now, fans can pre-order through the Japanese Good Smile Company website using a third party shipping forwarder to obtain a Japanese address, which will allow their order to be delivered for onward transit when the figures release in December 2025.
