About Setagaya Park
Established in 1953, Setagaya Park offers a green space in the middle of Tokyo.
The park has scenic walking paths as well as a playground for children and a skate park. Children can also take a ride on a miniature working steam locomotive that runs on a short track in the park.
A unique fountain serves as a focal point in the park, making it perfect for visiting during summer.
Setagaya Park is also a popular, but less well known, spot for "hanami" or "flower viewing" during springtime, with cherry blossoms in full bloom available to view around the park.
