Gintama pop up shop to open in Osaka, Fukuoka and Tokyo

A new pop up shop for Gintama is set to open in Osaka, Fukuoka and Tokyo, with the Osaka venue opening from the 23rd April.
Gintama is a popular Japanese manga series created by Hideaki Sorachi.
Set in an alternate Edo period where aliens have invaded, the story follows the eccentric samurai Gintoki Sakata and his Yorozuya Odd Jobs business.
Known for its unique blend of sharp wit, slapstick comedy, heartfelt drama, and action, “Gintama” gained a massive following.
The manga was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump from December 8, 2003, to June 20, 2019, and later on the Gintama app from December 23, 2019, to June 20, 2020.
The pop up shops will have a range of merchandise on offer including goods featuring new illustrations of the characters playing traditional childhood games.
