British pub HUB announces “The Birth of Kitaro” anime themed limited-time menu

A collaborative campaign based on the animated film “The Birth of Kitaro: The Mystery of Gegege” will take place at British-style pub chain HUB this April.

The “Birth of Kitaro: The Mystery of Gegege x British-Style Pub HUB” campaign will feature an extensive selection of beverages and culinary offerings, all inspired by the characters and the immersive world presented in the film, which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of Shigeru Mizuki.

Original merchandise featuring newly drawn illustrations of Kitaro’s father, Kitaro, Mizuki, Tokiya, and Sayo, all dressed in checkered outfits, will be available for purchase.

The “Birth of Kitaro: The Mystery of GeGeGe” collaboration campaign will be hosted at eight HUB branches located throughout the country, commencing on April 3, 2025.

The campaign will offer character-inspired cocktails, non-alcoholic mocktails, and food items that draw inspiration from the world depicted in the animated film:

Additionally, for each collaboration menu item that is ordered, customers will receive a randomly selected original coaster (from a selection of 10 available types) as a complimentary bonus!

During the duration of the “Birth of Kitaro: The Mystery of GeGeGe” campaign, original merchandise showcasing exclusive illustrations will be offered for sale at the participating stores:
