Fans eagerly await results of lottery to buy exclusive Gundam SEED Freedom figure
Gundam fans are eagerly awaiting the results of a lottery to buy a limited edition figure based on a popular character’s appearance in the animated film ‘Gundam SEED Freedom.
A lottery was held from early April until the 11th of May via Bandai’s official online store, Premium Bandai, to offer fans a chance to purchase the highly sought after “SHFiguarts Lacus Clyne (Pilot Suit Ver.) Ride-On Reproduction Set”.
This special figure set brings to life Lacus Clyne as she appears in the recent theatrical release “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM”.
The figure depicts Lacus in her distinctive pilot suit, a key outfit seen in the film. The main feature of this set is its ability to recreate a “ride-on pose”, allowing collectors to display Lacus in a dynamic posture.
This pose is achieved through the inclusion of dedicated fixed torso parts and a specially designed pedestal that provides stability and visual context for the display.
The “SHFiguarts Lacus Clyne (Pilot Suit Ver.) Ride-On Reproduction Set” also offers a range of interchangeable parts to provide a variety of display options and accurately capture the character’s appearance.
These include alternate wings, allowing for different visual configurations, interchangeable helmet parts, and swappable shoes.
As a special bonus, the set includes a sympathetic facial expression for Lacus, enabling collectors to portray a softer and more emotive side of the character.

Lucky winners will be contacted by Premium Bandai in mid-May and will have a limited time to place their order for the figure’s retail price of 13,200 yen. Fans will then need to wait a short time to receive the figure, as it is scheduled to ship to October 2025.
